So im a big fan of Brenda Leigh Turner (If you dont know her search her up on youtube) Shes a weight loss and fitness expert, and I swear by her videos and tips.
SO…… I purchased her e-book “Leansecrets”. This is her book about how to accept your self, know the truth about certain foods, why to choose to go lean and much much more ! This e-book also comes with a cook book, workout plan and 14 day meal plan to help you transition to start eating lean. This is NOT a diet. Its a LIFESTYLE change. This plan helps you loose fat and lean up.
Ive started reading the book and its so motivating. The meal plan is realistic and the workouts are doable and definitely a change from what I would normally do at the gym ! Its definably a challenge and im so excited to make this permanent transition.
Also, Brenda is very against wheat. (She has a video about why wheat is bad for you if you guys want to check that out) Ive noticed ive been feeling sick and have digestion and bloating problems when I eat wheat, so im cutting out ALL wheat products. Ive switched to brown rice bread and coconut and almond flour ! Im also on the hunt for gluten free oats !
Brenda Leigh Turners book, meal plan, cook book and workout plan is ONLY 27$! That is a deal I would never pass up !
I recommed this to anyone trying to get healthy, love themselves and loose fat!!
Message me if you heard of this, tried it or have questions !

Me running at a shoot I did recently =)
Yesterday I went to the gym to train delts and do some cardio. I’ve actually never been to this gym on the weekend, because I usually take a day off and the other day I train at home or outside. There was something interesting (and slightly saddening) that I noticed and thought was worth mentioning!
So the gym I go to is relatively small.. it’s split into a few very simple parts. When you first walk in, the cardio machines are all directly to your left.. and the weights are back a little bit and to your right. Straight ahead and around the corner, are a couple rooms for classes like pilates, yoga, zumba & spin. Well what I found interesting/saddening.. was that there was an EXTREMELY noticeable gender divide. On the left among the cardio, was almost solely women. On the right, was solely men. When I walked into the weight room, the guys stared at me like I was an alien for a good while until they finally acclimated to a female on that side of the room.
It’s a bummer to see that so many women have yet to discover the benefits of weight training. While I realize some of them may in fact weight-lift and are simply doing cardio that day, it’s still a reflection of the messages we’ve all been given for so long. I remember the days where I was afraid to lift weights, for fear of bulking up. I’m so glad I got over that fear and found the courage to pick up those dumbbells! As you all know by now, I’m definitely an advocate of the weights! They’ve changed my physique WAY MORE than cardio ever could. Along with clean eating, weight training gave me curves in all the places I always wished I had them and helped me drop that annoying belly pooch, muffin top and cellulite. They didn’t turn me into some hulking man and they didn’t make me bulky. I’m smaller now than I’ve ever been, yet I don’t look “skinny”.
I know a lot of you have begun weight lifting and many of you have told me how much of a difference you have already noticed! Those updates make me SO HAPPY! I’m so glad you girls (and guys) are beginning to realize what I did a year ago… that weights can change your life! =D
